Trumpeter Swans

Ann S. & I found two Trumpeter Swans on a pond along Telegraph Road  about 1/4 mile west of Winnebago Road at 4:00 P.M.  today. Seems quite early for Winnebago County. Not many shore birds to be found in the county today tho. Usual, Spotted, Solitary, Pectoral’s. No habit. Pec. Wetlands had nothing.

  1. Ann and Mary: Those swans are owned by the people on that property. Lou Cambier told me that the swans have been there for a long time and are removed during the winter. They are not wild birds. Jack Armstrong
