Thanks for the call yesterday regarding the Surf Scoter. I was able to see this life bird at 2:30 pm today and took a few pictures of it. Not sure how to upload them to this website but have posted them to my Flickr account.
Surf Scoter still there at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, 10/26. Two Black Ducks were on Olson Lake, with yesterday’s Gadwall. The Am. Wigeon was on Pierce Lake opposite the Lions Club pier. 3 Bonaparte’s Gulls were on Pierce Lake.
Visited Olson Lake this afternoon and the Surf Scoter is still there. Also saw Gadwall, Northern Shovellers, Black Ducks, and of course plenty of Mallards and Canada Geese.
