Barbara and I took a walk around the loop road at Anna Page late this afternoon. We were surprised (and pleased) to see 3 Eastern Bluebirds back along Kent Creek. They were first in a stand of pines inside the loop, then they flew down toward the creek.

Sorry, I’m not a member of this group but I wanted to add something to the bluebird sightings. We had 13 bluebirds in our garden on February 10. We’re across from Cap Sauer’s Holding Forest Preserve in unincorporated Palos Park in southwest Cook County. This is the earliest we’ve seen them in 20 years.
